The Hype Boost Monkey is the Monkey Boost's Power Pro in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 54.0. It provides a buff to all towers in range after activating its High Intensity Hype Activated Ability, but in contrast to its regular counterpart, it is limited to the towers in range in exchange to not being single-use.
In base state, it has a range of 45 units and when it uses its High Intensity Hype ability, it halves the attack cooldown of all Towers in range, effectively doubling their attack speed for 15 seconds. The ability has a cooldown of 90 seconds.
Path 2 improves the uptime of the buffs by reducing its ability cooldown and increasing its duration. Additionally, it protects Monkeys from being stunned.
Path 3 allows to store ability charges and restoring them with Monkey Money. It also increases the attack speed buff and provides an additional damage buff.
This upgrade increases the range of towers affected by the Power's High Intensity Hype ability by +15 units while it is active, in addition to the attack speed buff. The Power itself is not affected.
This upgrade additionally causes the High Intensity Hype ability to grant towers in range Camo detection and halved projectile spread, similar to Deadeye's Take Aim ability (except for towers that attack in a circular pattern, such as Tack Shooters).
The Power's High Intensity Hype ability now additionally grants towers in range the capability to pop any type of Bloon, and their attacks can now target and hit Bloons behind line of sight blockers.
This upgrade reduces the cooldown of the High Intensity Hype ability from 90 seconds to 60 seconds, but decreases the attack cooldown buff from 50% to 25%, equivalent to an attack speed buff of +33% (from +100%).
This upgrade restores the effectiveness of the High Intensity Hype ability's attack speed buff lost in the previous upgrade to -50% cooldown reduction, equivalent to +100% attack speed, and increases the duration of the buff from 15 to 20 seconds.
Hype ability prevents Monkeys being stunned, stopped, or interrupted by any mechanic, and breaks them out of any active disables. Hype ability duration increased.
This upgrade further increases the High Intensity Hype ability duration to 30 seconds and prevents Monkeys from being stunned for any reason except Benjamin's Biohack expiration and Glacial Trail's freeze while it is active and it will also break any stun currently being applied upon activation.
Stuns that are prevented from this ability include:
This upgrade lets the High Intensity Hype Activated Ability's cooldown to loop after fully recharging and store up to three charges instead of one. The player can also spend 100Monkey Money to instantly add two charges, except in Legends which disables that option.
This upgrade provides an additional 15% attack cooldown (equivalent to a +18% attack speed buff) to towers in range, regardless if the High Intensity Hype ability is active or not.
Hype ability increases attack speed and gives +1 damage to all Monkeys in radius. All Monkeys in radius have increased attack speed even when ability not active.
This upgrade lets the High Intensity Hype ability additionally provide +1 bonus damage to all Monkeys in range in addition to the attack speed buff. Additionally, the passive attack cooldown buff is increased to -30%, equivalent to an attack speed buff of +43%. This passive buff is implemented from the previous upgrade, despite what the description states.

The Hype Boost Monkey as an investable Power Pro isn't really worth the Monkey Money unless specifically wanting a specific interaction with game mechanics such as avoiding line of sight blockers or preventing enemy debuffs. However, in the long-term, the Hype Boost Monkey can be more worth it than many Monkey Boosts, as well as being ability-based, being a more proactive version of Monkey Boost that also saves more time compared to reacting to opening the Powers panel. It is recommended to buy upgrades for the Hype Boost Monkey to be worth the investment.
Each upgrade path of the Hype Boost Monkey can be beneficial:
Path 1 — Increased range, accuracy, camo detection, and ignorance of blockers are beneficial for setups that have trouble on specific maps that are only difficult from a lack of strategic locations that would normally be great for Villages, and just to avoid obstacles if needed.
Path 2 — Improved uptime of the ability and ignorance of enemy debuffs is beneficial against Bosses and Frontier Bloons, but the enemy debuff ignorance is not useful on problematic maps.
Path 3 — Being able to stack Hype abilities and add passive buffs are beneficial for general purposes.
Due to the medium-sized hitbox of Hype Boost Monkey, being the size of a Boomerang Monkey, as well as attack speed buffs diminishing in value, Hype Boost Monkey is not worth an extra Ninja Monkey in deep Freeplay runs that do not forbid the use of Powers.
