Amelia the Amazing (BCS)
Amelia the Amazing is a Hero in Bloons Card Storm. She can be unlocked from the Store by purchasing her for
2,000 or by purchasing the Amelia Hero Bundle or Amelia Mega Bundle for real money.
Amelia uses magic tricks to activate a variety of effects. She can shield her side's Bloons, reduce the cost of Power cards, and remove Monkeys from the board.
- Bloon Shield — Passively adds 30 Shield to the last Bloon in the player's Bloon track at the end of each turn. This triggers after On Fire deals damage.
- Act of Power — Reduces the cost of the next Power card the player plays by up to 4 Gold, to a minimum cost of 0. For Powers with multiple charges, only one usage is discounted. Powers that have a base Gold cost of 0 are not discounted, but can still consume the effect. Powers that cost Bloontonium instead of Gold are not discounted and do not consume the effect. Any Powers drawn after activating the ability, but before playing the next Power, are not discounted and do not consume the effect. The player can activate the ability even if there are no Powers in their hand. The player cannot activate Act of Power if the effect from a previous activation has not yet been consumed.
- Grand Disappearance — Removes a target Monkey from either player's side.

Strategy
Amelia has no self-defense, but compensates by shielding Bloons, decreasing cost of Powers, and removing Monkeys at will. Thus, she is an excellent option for combo decks, provided other Monkeys can defend long enough for her to finish off the opponent. Most of her hero-exclusive cards are helpful, but not required to take full advantage of herself.
Amelia aggro is not as strong as before the nerfed delay of Reds and Blues, but still decent if focused around protecting bloons and combos with Bloon Embiggen, and sometimes with one Quick Ready. She isn't as versatile for aggro as Zee Jay, as he can often give more HP than her Shield, and he has abilities that directly fuel his aggression. Instead, focus on swarms and scaling bloons such as Bolstered Bloon and Steady Growth Bloon.
Midrange Amelia is fairly difficult to execute but much more versatile when using a combo deck in mind. There are two common goals for midrange Amelia users: either spamming Grand Disappearance on opponent Monkeys to weaken the opponent, or utilizing Act of Power to gain an advantage in building up a wincon. These decks should equip Quick Ready and other power-specific finishers as the main wincon. OTK Amelia decks often take advantage of boosted Double Bloons (particularly Double Yellows, Double Ceramics, or Double Rainbows). On the other hand, some decks may focus entirely on duplicating The Eternal as much as possible.
Her weakest deck archetype is control; this archetype does not heavily depend on spending Gold in the late rounds, rendering Amelia's only purpose in those decks to keep removing opponent Monkeys. However, an opponent's own removal cards or Amelia may leave a control Amelia exposed without her fragile setups with Monkeys that compensate her complete lack of defense, and Bloontonium resources (if applicable).
Tips
| This strategy section is empty or incomplete. See the strategy guidelines for more information on how to write strategy sections. |
- Good candidates for Act of Power include Bloon Embiggen and Quick Ready. It also has good synergy with MOAB Strike.
- Some combos are only possible with Amelia in certain conditions.
- For Triple Quick Ready on a sent Double Rainbow Bloon, it costs exactly 20 Gold if two Acts of Power were activated for the two of the Quick Readies (the second provided by the Double Rainbow, first is prepared in advance); it doesn't need Quincy Action Figure.
- In aggro, after playing enough swarms of bloons, an Act of Power + Bloon Embiggen allows this power to be free of cost. This is essential, as cost is an obstacle for aggro strategies.
- Some combos are only possible with Amelia in certain conditions.
- Amelia currently has the most variety of pick cards in the game. So, players who want to specifically draw The Eternal quickly in Eternal decks may equip her, in addition to her Act of Power to make one-turn combos easier.
- Like Adora, Amelia benefits a lot from Monkeys that generate Bloontonium, so she can fuel her activated abilities. Most of them also can damage bloons, which Amelia lacks entirely.
- Amelia "burn" decks involve many Pink Bloons, Bloon Strikes, and other ways to keep making Pinks, such as Reinflated.
Development

The Firstlook test included text, code, and placeholder images for a Hero named Bloonifer the Amazing. This Hero had icons depicting her as a wizard with green fur and had the description "Uses the power of Bloontonium to summon and heal Bloons". Her name was changed to Amelia the Amazing in the Full Playable test, which also featured her final design on the title screen and main menu (though her in-game assets were not changed at the time). The final game replaced her placeholder assets with her final design and replaced her abilities with ones that were originally intended for a Hero named "Zoom-Jam" (who was seemingly reworked into Zee Jay).
