Howl is an Advanced Power card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 5.0. It grants all Wolf-type Monkeys (Wolf, Dire Wolf) +10 ATK while on the player's side, including any Wolves moved to their side with Expert Negotiator or placed after using this card, for the rest of the match. It can only be added to Obyn Greenfoot and Mountain Obyn decks.

- Full Wolf armies will benefit from this card the most. With all three of this card, they'll do 60 damage per turn, which rivals most 1-delay Monkeys, not including certain Ultra Rare Monkeys (e.g. Total Transformation Monkey, Sun Temple). It's even better with Dire Wolf, which will synergize well with its splash damage, for up to 80 ATK with three Howls alone.
- While this card doesn't have use before Wolves are made, the relatively cheap cost makes it still viable early on once the defenses stabilize by other means.
- This will still be hard to see value when going into Mountain Obyn, due to the slow production of Dire Wolves, but the huge buff to groups can make this strong win condition against anything but OTK and extremely high-HP Bloons.

Development
[edit | edit source]Howl had its cost reduced to make it way less of a brick for both Obyns.[1] Although Mountain Obyn players would see more usage of Mountain Obyn surviving with just Dire Wolves, the buffed Howl makes early-game less difficult for both Obyns, and won't really change how difficult Dire Wolves are to create or handle rushes when used correctly.[1]
