Sharp Shurikens is the Ninja Monkey's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It increases the pierce of the Ninja Monkey's projectiles from 2 to 4.

Strategy

Sharp Shurikens is okay in the early-game, being a little more consistent against groups, but otherwise mostly a transition upgrade to its higher tiers. It's recommended to add Seeking Shuriken to take advantage of the extra pierce so it won't struggle so much to spaced Bloons like Yellows and Pinks. Sharp Shuriken is not needed for Flash Bomb unless starting rounds with it as the sole defender, as Ninja Discipline already gives it enough consistency.
