Strategies

[edit | edit source]

The Monkey Town is effective on tiles as it can provide enough value to build a competent defense if you purchase it early enough. This is even more effective when capturing a tile infected by a Bloon Beacon as the cash per pop effectively becomes 3 times the normal amount, and farms have less impact due to the shorter number of rounds. On the Flash version of Bloons Monkey City, it is risky to use on tiles with DDTs on them as the player may also want a Monkey Intelligence Bureau to combat them.

On the mobile version, it becomes even better due to the lack of a primary use case for Monkey Intelligence Bureau as DDTs do not have Black and Lead properties and thus can be damaged by any tower that has Camo detection.
