The Banana Farm is a tower in the Bloons TD series, introduced in Bloons TD 4. Unlike most other towers, the Banana Farm generates additional money for the player rather than dealing damage. Until the BTD6 Generation, the Banana Farm displays a non-functional pop counter, and since then instead only shows the amount of money collected from the farm.
Gameplay
In Bloons TD 4 and mobile version, the Banana Farm generates 80 additional cash at the end of each round, and has upgrades that increases this amount by a flat rate.
In Bloons TD 5, Bloons TD 5 Deluxe, mobile version, Bloons TD Battles, mobile version, and Bloons Monkey City, the Banana Farm returns with a slight rework. It now generates bananas throughout the round, and if it is not collected after a short time, the banana rots and no money is given. The left path upgrades increase the amount of money generated, while the right path upgrades introduce the Monkey Bank, which generates money automatically and can be collected at any point. In Bloons Monkey City, the player recruits each Banana Farm by purchasing the eponymous city building, though the Banana Farm Lab is required to deploy Banana Farms in battle.
In Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2, the Banana Farm is classified as a Support tower. Like in 5, the top path focuses on generating additional money that must be collected manually by the player, and the middle path is improving long-term value, with the Monkey Bank that stores money to generate interest. A new third path has been added, which is the convenience path that can automatically increase the player's cash throughout the round.
Bloons Pop!
In Bloons Pop!, the Banana Farm is not a playable unit, but instead is one of many locations to rebuild. Specifically, it is the fourth Scene of the Jungle. Farm equipment, business workers, and banana-themed buildings and vehicles can be placed in this area. At the centre of the location, a banana palm, reminiscent of the ones found in the deployable Banana Farms in the Bloons TD series, must be repaired before constructing anything else at the Banana Farm.
Bloons Card Storm
"Banana Farm" is a Monkey type shared by three Support-class cards, including the basic Banana Farm. Instead of being able to attack, they generate Gold for the player.
Banana Farm generates Gold at the end of each turn.
Banana Plantation generates Gold each time the opponent draws a card.
Marketplace is a more expensive Banana Farm that generates Gold depending on the number of Monkeys on the player's board.
