Favored Trade is a Basic Power card in Bloons Card Storm. It removes a target Monkey on the player's side in exchange for Gold equal to half of its Gold cost, rounded up if the cost is an odd number. Discounts such as the Golden Idol in Striker's Adventure have no effect on the gold gained back. Monkeys with a Per Gold Spent mechanic (e.g. Extra-Super Monkey) are refunded based on their initial Gold costs after placement.
The card artwork depicts a monkey shaking hands with Geraldo, who is running a stand that resembles a Marketplace. Three gold coins are placed on a fabric placemat at the counter of his stand.

- Favored Trade's Gold refund is beneficial for opening more possible ways to combo during a turn. As one of the few ways to gain Gold mid-turn, Favored Trade allows players to afford more expensive combo pieces (e.g. Quick Ready or Double Trouble) in a single turn.
- The best candidates include Per Gold Spent Monkeys such as Extra-Super Monkey and Even More Tacks. High cost Monkeys are also preferred, with Monkeys like Grand Saboteur or MOAB Eliminator being solid options.
- In particular, Even More Tacks allows for a good Defender that gives the maximum amount of Gold. It is highly recommended to include if using Favored Trade as a way to win the game via an OTK combo.
- Favored Trade has the benefit of being free, somewhat offsetting the lower average Gold gain compared to Quincy Action Figure. It can be played early on if needed to gain more Gold in a pinch due to it not needing extra Gold or other Monkeys in hand to activate.
- Favored Trade can be used with Doomed or Temporary Monkeys that have already run out of ammo to partially refund their costs.
- You can follow with Expert Negotiator or Monkey Summons after playing Favored Trade, to allow Expert Negotiator to steal an opponent's Monkey without it going to waste, or to allow Monkey Summons an empty space to play a selected Monkey for free.
