Bloon Amalgamation is a Basic Powercard in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 6.0. It removes the 5 Bloons most recently added to the player's graveyard from the game, then summons a Bloon Amalgam with health and delay equal to the combined health and delay of the removed Bloons (which also generates 1 Bloontonium). It treats immobile Bloons as having 2 delay instead of infinite delay. The player cannot play it if they have less than 5 Bloons in their graveyard. It can only be added to Ezili decks.
The card artwork shows a Bloon Amalagamation above numerous gravestones during a cloudy night, with an eerie green glow.
Check the History and Deck menus to verify the earliest destroyed friendly Bloons, ensuring the Amalgam will be timed well.
Packing many high health Bloons into Bloon Amalgam will help make it beefier and make the Must Pop property linger for longer.
Undead Bloons not being placed into the graveyard should be kept in mind, as Ezili may be using Undead Bloons in her deck. It is best advised to not use Undead Bloons and Bloon Amalgamation together.
Using 0 delay Bloons can potentially make the Amalgam a leaking threat by being an extremely fast Bloon. Using three Pink Bloons and two Setup Bloons makes an Amalgam have 340 health at 0 delay, making it a very effective and powerful burn tool. The issue is that it is very difficult to set this up, as Bloon Amalgam will quickly be saturated with stronger Bloons from the Storm, and you need 5 specific cards to get it. An alternative is using 0 delay Bloons alongside 1 delay Bloons, using MOAB Construction Facility or Quick Ready to get a low delay Amalgam to burn the opponent.
During playtesting for Version 6.2, Bloon Amalgamation had its Bloon Amalagam proposed by community testers to suit either for tempo or burn decks.[1] Tempo-favored playtesters proposed capping the delay of Bloon Amalagam,[1] while burn-favored playtesters proposed making it more compatible as a niche method of creating a high-Health 0-delay Bloon with Pinks.[1] Instead of either design, Ninja Kiwi decided to add Must Pop, to the surprise of many community testers; this has ended up making Bloon Amalagam a unique way for Ezili to generate a very high Health Must Pop Bloon, as well as making Ezili more viable.[1]
