Alchemic Engineering is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It causes the projectiles of Engineer Monkeys to inflict the Rubber to Gold effect (doubles the amount of Cash obtained by popping it) to any Bloon they damage in exchange for reducing their pierce. The Rare variant reduces the pierce penalty, and the Legendary variant removes it entirely. Unlike Rubber to Gold, it doesn't remove immunities. Sentries are not affected by this Artifact, only the main naingun attack and Cleansing Foam.

Tips

The editor who added this notice elaborates: Restructure into a bullet point list per the strategy guidelines
This section was last updated for: version 51.2

Alchemic Engineering has niche use for farming, although it relies on pop income which diminishes as the rounds progress and other methods like Lead to Gold offer much higher returns, specially when paired with Home Brew Alchemy. This Artifact has synergy with any buff that increases the attack speed, pierce and range of the Engineer for being able to inflict the status condition to more Bloons. Players should avoid upgrades in the upper path as Sentries can pop the Bloons before the Engineer has the chance of attack and instead use other towers to pop the Bloons before the Ruber to Gold effect disappears.

In the early game a 0-1-3 Double Gun is the best tower to spread the effect changing its targeting to Last so it doesn't get distracted trying to hit Bloons that were damaged before. Camo and Lead Bloons are unaffected by Dobule Gun so a X-3-X Cleansing Foam can be used instead. Players can also upgrade a Double Gun into a Bloon Trap and XXXL Trap and place it in such a way the Engineer can damage the Bloons before they enter the trap for extra income.

With the Common or Rare version of this Artifact, Cleansing Foam should not be the only form of defense against Camo and Lead Bloons as it becomes very unreliable due the pierce penalty.
