Bloon Buster is the Mortar Monkey's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It increases the damage of its shells from 1 to 2 and their blast radius from 90 units to 98 units (roughly 8.8% larger). On the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City, its damage cannot skip layers immune to explosive damage (i.e. Rainbow Bloons will pop into 2 Zebra Bloons instead of 2 Black Bloons and 2 White Bloons) and due to an oversight the blast radius portion instead improves the de-regrow blast radius instead of the main attack.

In the multiplatform version, Bloon Buster is not strong due to its inability to bypass Zebra layers on Rainbows and the lack of an increased blast radius.
