Monkey Pirates is the Monkey Buccaneer's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It unlocks the MOAB Takedown Activated Ability, which launches a grappling hook at the strongest Bloon on-screen, ignoring ZOMGs and Boss Bloons, and instakills it after a short delay (always 3 seconds in the Flash version). Despite what its description implies, it can target non-MOAB-Class Bloons. In the mobile version, if multiple Bloons have the same strong priority, it will target the first of those Bloons, while in the Flash version, it will target the closest. In the Flash version, it does not generate any cash from instakilled Bloons. It has a 60-second cooldown (55 seconds in the Flash version).
