Explosive Economics is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. This makes Support Monkeys create an explosion when they are sold, similar to Sentry Champion, but sub-towers (like Engineer Sentries) are not affected by this Artifact. Spike Factories, Engineer Monkeys and Beast Handlers also benefit by having their placement cooldowns reduced by 1 round (2 for the Legendary variant). The explosion can damage Camo Bloons and increases in power with the rarity of the artifact, but all other stats remain the same.

The explosions can be used to clear clusters of Bloons with stall support or do decent damage to MOABs and BFBs in the early stages if the player can have access to a base Engineer or Beast Handler that can be sacrificed for the explosion without compromising the rest of the defense. However, as the campaign progresses, the explosion damage is negligible against higher HP targets like ZOMGs and Boss Bloons and the towers are more valuable as they get Artifact buffs which deal much more damage than this Artifact.
The cooldown reduction can help to have towers to sacrifice for explosions early and in the late game, and it helps to build Beast Power quicker, but at this point cash might be more limiting than the tower cooldown. Having both Legendary of itself and Dream Teams makes Beast Handlers have no placement cooldown outside of the Low Stamina Curse, which opens up strategies involving buying many Beast Handlers at a time and saving the need to equip more Beast Handlers in the same party.
