White Hot Spikes is the Spike Factory's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It allows the Spike Factory's spike piles to damage frozen Bloons and Lead Bloons. This also applies to the spike piles generated by the Spike Storm Activated Ability.

Strategy

White Hot Spikes is not truly needed unless specifically handling DDTs in the Flash version or Dreadbloon, and best used on Spike Storm to take advantage of hitting them. Although the basic White Hot Spikes can handle Camo Leads, it's very expensive and is not recommended against them until Spike Storm, due to the non-ability Spike Factory's limited pierce and weakness to large groups. Popping Frozen is only needed when using Ice-centric strategies while using Spike Storm.
