Sniper Monkey, Mortars, and Heli Pilots (to a lesser extent) can effectively ignore both the zigzag movement and projectile speed penalties due to how the former two attack, and how close they usually are for the latter.

Zig Then Zag is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It increases the attack speed of Military Monkeys, but in exchange they move slower in a Zig Zag pattern, making them more likely to miss their targets. The Common version of the artifact reduces the attack cooldown by 11%, Rare reduces 15% and Legendary 30%, resulting in an attack speed increase of 12%, 18% and 43%, respectively. Also projectiles can move up to 15 units from a straight line at a speed of 4 units/s and their speed is reduced 20%.

For the most part, the zigzag movement can be ignored. Sniper Monkey, Mortars, and Heli Pilots (to a lesser extent) can effectively ignore both the zigzag movement and projectile speed penalties due to how the former two attack, and how close they usually are for the latter.
