Sheriff portrait
Sheriff is a tower[fn 1] exclusive to the Frontier Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. He is controlled by the player while exploring the DLC's setting and can be deployed as a tower during Bloon Encounters. While deployed in battle, his attacks and abilities depend on his equipment. Players can also change the in-game name of Sheriff and choose a Pet to follow him. Some of his stats, such as damage and range, can be improved by buying upgrades at the General Store in Sandytown.
Giddy Up is the Sheriff's exclusive ability which doubles the attack speed of himself and all other Monkeys in range, but in exchange the members of his Posse consume 1 more point of Stamina per round. It can gain additional effects based on the equipment of the Sheriff. Unlike other abilities, it does not have fixed duration and instead it consumes a type of energy called Morale while is active at a rate of 4% per second. The players can turn on and off the effect of Giddy Up at any moment by clicking on the ability button (the activation has a cooldown of 3s). This is similar to the mana system for Magus Perfectus where players can switch between its regular attacks which drains mana and a drain beam to recharge it.
The amount of morale that Sheriff has to use his ability is shown in a bar above his portrait and players can increase the maximum amount by buying upgrades at the General Store. Morale will recharge passively while the ability is off at a rate of 0.5% per second.

All stamina costs reduced 5%. When Sheriff or Posse members retreat, create explosion that damages nearby Bloons.
The explosion only happens if the tower has stamina remaining. It deals 100 damage with 50 pierce and has a range of 60 units, cannot damage Camo Bloons unless the parent tower has Camo detection.
Sheriff attacks have a chance to release a flame burst, burning up to 60 Bloons and negating Lead immunity for 6s.
The chance is 1 in 50 and the burst happens at Sheriff's position and deals 5 Fire damage, it also applies a damage over time effect that deals 10 Fire damage every 1.5s during 6.1s.
Your charisma and luscious moustache earn you 10% extra gold from all sources.
It applies a Rubber to Gold visual effect to the Bloons it hits, but it does not have any effect. Internally it is applied as a damage debuff (e.g. Embrittlement) that grants +0 damage, it lasts 0.5s and affects all layers.
Sheriff's projectiles have a 5% chance to Crit for 5x damage. Crit chance the further away the target is. Projectiles gain slight homing.
The damage multiplier is 4× despite what the description says. The Crit chance increases 0.5% per unit of distance to the target, in the same way Bullseye works. Projectiles can now seek targets in a 20 unit radius.
Posse explodes burning Bloons by popping with fire damage. Posse explodes glued Bloons by popping with explosive damage. Sheriff has chance to apply glue on hit.
When the Posse pops Bloons on fire, produces an explosion that deals 2 Explosion damage with 3 pierce.
When the Posse pops Bloons with glue, produces an explosion that applies the same type of glue to nearby Bloons for 6s with 6 pierce.
When Sheriff hits Bloons, he has 3 chances to apply glue with a 30% chance (65.7% chance combined). This glue does not slow down Bloons and has a lifespan of 1s. After expiring, it will deal 1 Normal damage.
Sheriff and Posse deal 25% more damage to Bloons that are Frozen, Glued, or Stunned. Freeze duration of Posse in Sheriff radius increased by 50%. Water around Sheriff can freeze for Monkey placement.
Bonus damage is also applied to Bloons affected by Trance. The water freeze effect has a radius of 40 units.
Fishing Minigames are easier. Monkey projectiles have a chance to release fishy fish and water monkeys can be placed on land near the Sheriff.
Water zone around Sheriff has a radius of 50 units.
Projectiles have a 5% chance of releasing 3 Fishes which deal 2 Shatter damage with 5 pierce. Fishes can move in an arc or use Adora's seeking mechanics.
It also reduces the speed of fishes in the minigame by 5%.
A pistol that shoots darts with a cooldown of 2.5s. It shoots in a similar way to a Desperado, launching a burst of 6 darts every 0.2s. The darts deal 2 Normal damage with 2 pierce.
Sheriff starts with this item.
Boomerang Pistol
Throwable pistol that flies back to the Sheriff.
Sheriff throws its pistol in the same way as a Boomerang Monkey, dealing 6 Normal damage with 30 pierce and deals Pushback to any damaged Bloon which is less effective against MOAB-Class Bloons, it also can re-hit Bloons every 0.2s. The pistol keeps shooting every 0.2s while in the air, throwing darts in a straight line, tangent to the curve of the pistol which deals 6 Normal damage with 6 pierce.
Throws small sticky bombs to the Bloons that detonate after 3s, dealing 120 Explosion damage to the target and up to 18 nearby Bloons also take 60 Explosion damage. Attacks every 4.5 seconds.
Sheriff will throw a marshmallow on fire every 3s to the Bloons which deals no damage on contact, but will apply a glue effect that lasts 12s which halves the Bloon speed and applies a damage over time effect that deals 10 Fire damage every 1.5s. The Marshmallow has 3 pierce and will bounce on other targets, if it does not find another target, it will stay on the path until another Bloon collides with it, in this case, the Marshmallow has a lifespan of 30s.
A larger pistol that shoots a burst of 6 darts every 0.05s with a cooldown of 3.5s. The darts deal 15 Normal damage with 3 pierce. The darts also stun any Bloon they hits for 1s (except BADs and Boss Bloons).
Every 2s shots a burst of 12 water projectiles every 0.05 which move in a curvy trajectory which can deviate 25° from its target and their speed can also vary ±15%. Each projectile deals 1 Normal damage with 8 pierce and +3 pierce penalty against MOAB-Class Bloons. Also the projectiles will freeze any Bloon they damage (except BADs and Bosses) for 2s and deal 1 extra Normal damage to them.
Sheriff can also collect Deputy Badges throughout the campaign, each one allows the player to have an additional Hero in the Posse. At the start of the story Scout gives to Sheriff his Badge, which also serves as the first Deputy Badge, Mr Mayor gives the second as the story progresses and the rest are found in certain loot chests. The locations of all badges are:

Given by Scout after Mr. Mayor announces the appointment of the new Sheriff to the town.
This effect only applies to Sheriff, the equipment has three copies of this effect, if they application is independent, it has a combined 65.7% chance.
