In the Firstlook test, there were four playable maps, with the Full Playable test adding two more. The App Store and Google Play page descriptions state that there are "5 Arenas to battle on", which suggests that one of the maps will not appear at launch.<ref>[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninjakiwi.bloonscardstorm ''Bloons Card Storm'' on Google Play]</ref><ref>[https://apps.apple.com/app/bloons-card-storm/id6478193271 ''Bloons Card Storm'' on the App Store]</ref>

For maps in the Bloons TD series, see Map.
The subject of this article is upcoming or in development and may change dramatically over time.
This article will likely become outdated as more information is released. You can help Blooncyclopedia out by keeping it up-to-date.
Icon for maps

Maps (also called Arenas) are environments in Bloons Card Storm that apply additional rules to the game. Before each match begins, one map is selected at random. Each player can use one skip to reroll the map before the match starts, which will always be a different map from the previous one (or two if the other player skipped first). During the match, the current map's modifier can be seen at any time by selecting the map icon in the top-right corner. There are five maps in the final game, but there were four maps in the Firstlook test and six maps in the Full Playable test, with the final game removing Game Night.

Monkey Meadow

"Monkey Meadow (BCS)" redirects here. For the map in Bloons TD 6, see Monkey Meadow.
Monkey Meadow
Where adventure begins! No special rules.

Monkey Meadow has no modifiers. It takes place in a grassy clearing surrounded by woods, with a small creek that runs down the middle.

Monkey Meadow was revealed in the March 2024 Developer Diary with concept artwork,[1] and was playable in the Firstlook test. In the Firstlook test, Monkey Meadow had a very different appearance from both the final version and the concept art: the play field was more enclosed and had a dirt ground with lines in it to separate the play areas, it was decorated with objects such as targets and wooden barrels, it lacked the creek, and it was less saturated overall.

Dark Castle

"Dark Castle (BCS)" redirects here. For the map in Bloons TD 6, see Dark Castle.
Half Cash icon This section is incomplete. You can help out by expanding it.
The editor who added this notice elaborates: describe its appearance and how it changed from the betas

Workshop increases the number of cards in each player's opening hand by 1. In the Firstlook test and Full Playable test, Workshop used the same background as Monkey Meadow. Its final appearance was not revealed before release.

High Finance

"High Finance (BCS)" redirects here. For the map in Bloons TD 6, see High Finance.
High Finance
Players start with 2 additional Gold.

High Finance increases the amount of Gold each player starts with by 2. In the Firstlook test and Full Playable test, High Finance used the same background as Monkey Meadow. Its final appearance was revealed in the trailer and official screenshots before release.

Update history

Version 0.8 (build 144)

  • Neutral Extra starting Gold reduced ― 3 → 2

Badlands

Badlands
At the start of each turn: Deal 10 damage to the other Hero.

Badlands (called Wasteland in the Full Playable test) was introduced in the Full Playable test. It causes Heroes to take 10 damage at the start of the opponent player's turn. In the Firstlook test and Full Playable test, Wasteland used the same background as Monkey Meadow. Its final appearance was revealed in the trailer and official screenshots before release.

Game Night

The subject of this article has been removed from the game and only exists in previous versions.
Game Night
Monkeys have +5 Attack Power.

Game Night increases the Attack Power of all Monkeys by 5. In the Firstlook test and Full Playable test, Wasteland used the same background as Monkey Meadow. It was only playable in the Full Playable test and does not appear in the final game.

Strategy

This strategy section is empty or incomplete.
See the strategy guidelines for more information on how to write strategy sections.
The editor who added this notice elaborates: go into more detail about which maps marginally benefit which playstyles

Maps have very little impact on the viability of cards and decks, so there's little reason to build decks for specific maps.

  • Dark Castle favors aggro. The extra health can allow Bloons to survive some interactions they would normally lose to from full health, such as Golden Bloons being able to survive two Tack Shooter hits on defense.
  • Workshop is about as neutral as Monkey Meadow.
