Social Season Event

Social Season Events are events in Bloons TD 6. Support for them was added in version 54.0, but the first event did not start until 28 April 2026, after the release of version 54.2. During a Social Season, players participate in themed challenges similar in structure to Sweepstakes Events.[1] There are both Global Goals, which count progress made by all players, and Team Goals, which count progress made by members within a Team. Participating earns rewards including Team Trophies, exclusive cosmetic items, and Perks that apply passive buffs in certain game modes.
Goals
In Social Season Events, players complete objectives called Goals to earn rewards. There are two types of Goals: Global Goals, which count progress made by all BTD6 players worldwide; and Team Goals, which are specific to a Team and consist of objectives that must be completed individually by each member. Goals only progress after winning a game, and they must be completed in full to count. Freeplay, Advanced Challenges, Deflation, Content Browser games, Quests, Legends, and Race Events[fn 1] do not count towards Goal progress. Rewards for either milestone are granted as soon their requirements are fulfilled.
Team Goals
Completing Team Goals earns Stars. All Team members earn rewards when the total number of Stars earned by the Team reaches certain thresholds.
Team Goals are divided into two phases, each with five categories, each with five tiers, for a total of 50 Team Goals per season. The first category of a phase is available immediately, while the rest gradually unlock when the player completes tier 1 of the previous category. The first phase is available at the start of the season, while the second phase unlocks after the first week. The amount of stars earned depends on the Tier of the goal, and some tiers additionally reward Team Trophies.

Notes:
- "Earn X Cash goals" only count extra income from any source that registers to the tower's stats (e.g. Banana Farms but not Lead to Gold). Additionally, for each player, counted income caps at $65,000,000 per day, refreshing every 24 hours from the start of the event.
- For the "Win games with Support Monkeys" and other tower-specific goals, the player can only use the required tower, Heroes, and Powers. The player must place at least one of respective tower for it to count.
According to Ninja Kiwi, the first event had 649,945 participants that collectively earned 308,076,360 stars over 13,471,616 games played.[2]

Notes:
- "Pop Bloons with Monkeys" and "Pop Bloons with any Monkey" cap at 15,000,000 pops per player per day, refreshing every 24 hours from the start of the event.
- The daily limit was originally 2,000,000 pops at the start of the event, but server-side updates increased it over time.
- On July 2, 2026 at approximately 22:00 UTC, the final server-side update increased the daily limit to the current amount and lowered the global goals from 3 and 10 trillion pops to 1 and 3 trillion pops.
- Playing Co-op shares goals among all players. For example, if playing on Geared on Double HP MOABs and Player 1 has Rosalia and only Druids and Player 2 has Dan D'Monke, the respective goals (pops, winning Co-Op, winning a specific map on a game mode, placing only Druids, using specific Heroes) will be earned for all players, if these goals are unlocked already per player.

Tips
| This article or section needs cleanup, either to improve the way it presents information and/or comply with the style guide. You can help out by editing this article. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Split the strategy by social season |
- It is not recommended to exit to the main menu, retry last round or use continues or checkpoints because progress may not be tracked properly.
- The player can tackle on different goals at the same time, like for example, doing the "Try a New Hero!" goals in the game mode indicated by the "Extreme Challenge!" goals.
- The easiest way to complete the goals for activating abilities is to spam fast cooldown abilities. Use Tech Bot for automation, or a Tech Bot Prime with Chain Link (2-0-0) to automate multiple of the same ability.
- Alternatively, to make progress without having to manually press ability buttons, create a regrow farm while having Tech Bots on non-money making abilities with an Energizer to speed up cooldowns. Deadeye's Take Aim is one of the cheapest ability with a short cooldown while not ruining regrow farms. Other contenders include Glue Strike, Artillery Battery's Bombardment, and Bloon Sabotage.
- Building a Sniper Monkey farm minimizes button presses for the abilities and advances Cash goals, and potentially the Paragons goals using the farmed cash.
- Another example is to play any Beginner map with enough land on a Boss Challenge versus normal Bloonarius and spam Blade Maelstroms.
- For cash goals, Impoppable on Beginner maps, Boss Challenge, or Boss Events, give many rounds to snowball income. Strategy:Boss Bloon Event contains examples of farming setups.
- To speed up the Paragon placement goals, accumulate a large sum of cash and then buy and sell Degree 1 Paragons repeatedly (with no additional sacrifices or cash investment). It is recommended to use the cheapest Paragon per category and upgrade the most expensive Tier 5 to lose the least amount of cash after selling. The recommended Paragons and Tier 5's are:
- Primary: Apex Plasma Master (Upgrade Plasma Monkey Fan Club)
- Military: Nautic Siege Core (Upgrade Pre-emptive Strike)
- Magic: Ascended Shadow (Upgrade Master Bomber)
- Support: Master Builder (Upgrade Ultraboost)
- To speed up the obstacle goals, play maps with many removables, particularly High Finance which has the most. Use 0-1-4 Bloon Trap to accelerate farming while surviving rounds and acquiring enough money to buy all buildings on Easy.
- All tower limit goals should be played on Beginner maps for the least difficulty. For most game modes, 2TC strategies also work for the tower limit goals.
- Easy mode gives the fastest results for goals involving winning many games.
- If restricted to Medium difficulty, Apopalypse is the fastest (this is RNG based, but on average faster than standard rounds by 22 seconds).
- If restricted to Hard difficulty, Alternate Bloons Rounds is the fastest.
- Captain Churchill, Corvus, or Geraldo are generally the best Heroes to use for specific tower only goals.
- If the goals require popping a large amount of MOAB-Class Bloons, particularly BADs, it is recommended to play games against Elite Bloonarius.
- Goals that require popping of MOAB-Class Bloons only by specific classes, such as Heroes, should revolve the strategy on getting pops from only this tower type.
- Specific to Heroes, choose a purely DPS Hero such as Quincy or Captain Churchill and super-buff it with any tower that does zero damage, or at least very minimal damage; treat it similarly to 2 MegaPops but focus on MOAB-Class damage only. If using Alch buffs, keep Alchemist well away from the Hero or use Permanent Brew and move it away.
- Goals that involve a damage counter, not "pops", should play Boss Challenge, Boss Bloon Event, CHIMPS, or Impoppable without
Big Bloon Sabotage. Having Big Bloon Sabotage prevents getting 2 million damage in one game. - For the goals that require using towers no higher than Tier 4, use strong options such as Overdrive + Embrittlement, Aircraft Carrier or Bloon Area Denial System for group damage while MOAB Assassin, Maim MOAB, Sticky Bomb, Arctic Knight and Orca can deal with the MOAB-Class spawns, without forgetting about support options which are plentiful at Tier 4.
- For the goals that require using towers no higher than Tier 3, it is recommended to use a Hero that can carry the early game with little support to cover their weaknesses, specially on ABR (Sauda or Ezili) or has a very strong late game (Churchill or Adora) and use Tier 3 Super Monkeys as the bulk of the defense because they are the strongest options available that can reliably beat Impoppable, Dark Knight and Robo Monkey can be used to carry the mid-game and from there, the player can proceed to spam those towers or switch to Sun Avatars. Support towers are more limited at Tier 3, with the main options narrowing down to Berserker Brew, MOAB Glue and Villages with Jungle Drums or Monkey Commerce. Another option to clear this goal could be Destroyer spam with Brickell and Camo support on a map such as Spa Pits.
- For the goals that require using towers no higher than Tier 2, it is recommended to play on the easiest maps of the game and focus on a strong Hero such as Churchill and complement the defense by spamming Tier 2 Super Monkeys, use different crosspaths to cover each others' weaknesses. Support options are limited to Acidic Mixture Dip and any of the Tier 2 Villages and stalling towers for ceramics like Ice Monkeys or Glue Gunners. The save up for the Hero in the early game can be done with Monkey Subs, Boomerang Monkeys, Desperados, Druids and Mermonkeys.
- To complete goals which require the Hero to pop MOAB-Class Bloons, it's recommended to use Psi or Ezili for their insta-kill abilities, preventing other towers from accidentally 'sniping' them.
- Try to coordinate with one or more teammates if possible to clear goals at the same, specially when there are Co-op goals available.
- For goals involving tower limits or max towers, don't rely on random Co-Op players to complete these goals.
- Don't rely on random Co-Op players to complete CHIMPS goals unless it's a Beginner map or an easy Intermediate map.
- For winning games with minimum Hero level requirements, play Impoppable with any fast-leveling Hero on at least Intermediate and have enough MK that give Heroes faster leveling or a headstart. Alternatively, play at least Hard and farm aggressively enough to buy any remaining levels before the final round ends.
- For life generation goals, play Hard on Easy maps. Use Marketplaces (with
Healthy Bananas) and Jungle's Bounties and a Spirit of the Forest to generate many lives per round. Specific Hero is not important, but choose a Hero that supports faster income generation. - For property removal goals, always use towers that remove properties and can target at the start, and avoid high damage towers. Signal Flare, Heart of Oak, Shattering Shells, and Perishing Potions are recommended. Farm hard early to afford expensive property removals later on.
- Alternate Bloons Rounds, Apopalypse, and Normal Dreadbloon have unusually high amounts of Fortified (and Camo and Regrow for the former) and are good for these goals.
- If the goal for Regrows is extremely high, Regrow farming also works. Do this on Round 76 and only add degrow once the Regrows build up.
- Each Hard game always has at least 500 Camos per game, and many more per Hard game than Medium game.
- Each ABR game always has at least 750 Regrows per game.
- For the Pet goals, pick the cheapest option(s) for a tower and spam that tower. Sniper Chameleon Pet is the cheapest (
50), so spam Sniper Monkeys. If playing from previous Social Season Events and incidentally earned the top Global Goals (e.g. Alchemist Possum Pet from Social Season Event #1), spam those towers too. - Event-related goals may be time-gated. Check the Events menu, focusing on the hours left before each of the listed event(s) begin, and plan ahead for ordering when to do each event.

Pre-release
Ninja Kiwi revealed Social Seasons in the update notes for version 47.0. They were originally named "Social Goals" and implied to include both Team-specific goals and goals that apply to all players.[3]
Ninja Kiwi originally stated in the update notes for version 49.0 that Social Goals would come in version 51.0.[4] In the update notes for version 50.0, they gave more details about the event, including a new feature called "Boost Rewards", and stated that all of the intended features may not be ready in time for 51.0.[5]
Ninja Kiwi did not acknowledge Social Goals in the update notes for version 51.0. In the update notes for version 52.0, they announced Social Seasons instead, featuring items called Perks instead of Boost Rewards,[1] which seems to be the replacement for Social Goals.
