Bloon Sabotage is the Ninja Monkey's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. This upgrade adds a new ability, the Sabotage ability. When activated, all Bloons on screen, as well as any new Bloons which spawn, are slowed to half speed for 15 seconds. It does not affect BADs or Boss Bloons, and it does not affect the children of MOAB-Class Bloons that were popped while slowed. The ability has a cooldown of 60 seconds and an initial cooldown of 20 seconds.

Strategy

Bloon Sabotage is straightforward but versatile support tower; the slowdown ability offers more time for defenses, especially against DDTs, without relying on positioning, and recommended to buy after Freeplay speed scaling begins. However, it's not as powerful against hyperdense rounds, since it cannot affect children from MOAB-class Bloons. It has some synergies with other supports, such as Embrittlement and Symphonic Resonance, which both suffer from downtime. MOAB Glue should be added to cover Sabo's downtime on less difficult rounds. It is most often used as a support tower for CHIMPS during late-game rounds.

Timing of its ability during late-game is important. Round 95 is excessively long to the extent that one Sabo ability won't cover all DDTs. For rounds 98 and 99, starting with Sabo usually gives enough time for the ability to be ready for round 99, and always ensure the ability is up, or almost up, before round 99 begins.

For an early game Distraction improvement the consistency of blowbacks is being averaged out more with increased minimum distance but reduced maximum, in many cases there would not actually be 250 units of track length in front of defenses to be blown back across anyway so the overall average distance is slightly lower.
