Improved Spelling is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 48.0. It reduces the ability cooldowns of X-4-X or higher Magic Monkeys, but reduces their attack speed by 20%. Also X-3-X or higher Magic Monkeys have their upgrade costs reduced (e.g. Tier 4 and 5 upgrades and their crosspaths). Higher rarity versions of the Artifact increase the ability cooldown bonus and the upgrade discount.
Tower that use their abilities for support like Jungle's Bounty and Bloon Sabotage, the attack speed penalty is negligible and for the rest, it can be mitigated by using artifacts like Grand Magic Quickening or Overwhelming Synergy. The discount is also pretty significant as the upgrades that grant abilities like Tech Terror, Arctic Knight and Summon Phoenix are on the more expensive side. It is recommended to combine this ability with Ability Stacking to take advantage of the reduced cooldowns but caution is advised with Pure Damage as the attack speed drop can be very significant to the point the towers might not be reliable to handle regular Bloon spawns.
