The subject of this article has been removed from the game and only exists in previous versions.

Energy icon
Energy was a currency in Bloons Blitz. It was required to start a new run, costing 5. The player passively gained Energy at a rate of 2 every 10 minutes, but would stop if the player had at least 30 saved up. The player could also obtain Energy through the following means:
Completing a level on Normal mode for the first time rewarded 5.
Blitz Boxes had a chance to contain Energy tokens worth either 5 or 15.
The shop allowed the player to get Energy by watching ads or through in-app purchases.
In version 0.9.4, Energy was removed and replaced with Lives. Unlike Energy, the player only loses Lives if they lose a run.

Lives icon
Lives is a currency in Bloons Blitz. It replaced Energy in version 0.9.4. Losing or quitting a game costs lives. At zero lives, the player cannot play another stage until at least one life is regenerated. Lives regenerate at a rate of 1 every hour (or something), maxing out at 5.
