Essence Of Phayze is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It grants Camo detection to all Towers Tier 4 or above, except to the Crucible of Steel and Flame, and Heroes level 15 or above, while granting the affected towers and Heroes triple damage to Camo Bloons. Unlike almost all Camo detection buffs, Phayze's Radar Jam cannot steal the benefit granted from this Artifact.
Like all Boss Artifacts, this has a cost of 18 Artifact Power, so players cannot equip it as an Starting Artifact unless they have bought all the levels of the Starting Artifact Power upgrade from the Rogue XP Shop.

Essence of Phayze is a versatile artifact to handle Camo Bloons, which come starting on round 6, much earlier than in standard rounds. It helps powerful attackers that lack Camo detection like Tack Shooters, Boomerang Monkeys, Druids or top/middle path Beast Handlers, saving money on buying Camo detection or Towers that remove it, which helps with Race and Least Cash Mini Game tiles, though the Tier 4 requirement means that reliable Camo detection is still necessary in early stages. The Camo detection also counters Phayze on future Mini Boss Tiles, making the goals much more attainable. The bonus damage to Camo is a niche benefit for countering DDTs, as most Tier 5 Monkeys are unaffordable by the time they start appearing, and many Tier 4s and Heroes still need additional support to penetrate the Black and Lead properties of DDTs. With this Boss Artifact, a Rubber to Gold Alchemist can strip immunities from DDTs while retaining the Camo property for the bonus Camo damage to still apply.
As a starting Artifact, Essence of Phayze is a costly Artifact to essentially never worry about Camo Bloons. Compared to alternative Camo detection granting Artifacts like General's Disposition and Perceptive Crow, Essence of Phayze affects all Monkeys globally as opposed to limited radii, and Essence of Phayze is uniquely not affected by Phayze's Radar Jam, but you may not start with any other Artifacts should you equip Essence of Phayze. On campaigns starting with Essence of Phayze, players build towards high-damage Tier 4 towers and crosspaths that benefit from the free Camo detection.
