Camo Bloons (also known as Camouflage Bloons[1] and occasionally referred to as just Camo) are Bloons with camouflage patterns. In the Bloons TD series, they are invisible to monkeys that lack Camo detection, while in Bloons 2 and Bloons Pop!, they can alternate between being visible and invisible. In Bloons Card Storm, the Camo property prevents manually targeted Monkeys from directly targeting them unless they're the only Bloons left.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]In Bloons TD 4, Camo Bloons are a unique type of Bloon that cannot be targeted by towers without Camo detection, though their projectiles can still hit Camo Bloons if attacked indirectly. They split into two Pink Bloons when popped.
Starting in Bloons TD 5, Camo Bloons are a Bloon Mod rather than a unique type of Bloon. In addition to being undetectable, Camo Bloons cannot be hit by towers without Camo detection at all (with some exceptions), causing their projectiles to simply pass through them. Some towers can remove Camo properties from Camo Bloons. DDTs and Phayze naturally have the Camo property, but other MOAB-Class Bloons cannot be Camo Bloons.

Camo Bloons in Bloons 2 gradually fade in and out over time. While invisible, they cannot be popped or frozen.
Camo Bloons are a Bloon Mod that cause Bloons to disappear and appear every few seconds. While invisible, they cannot be targeted, and projectiles pass through them. They are always visible to Monkeys that have Camo detection, and they do not disappear while afflicted with certain status effects.

Camo is an effect keyword that applies to Bloons. It forces Monkeys without the Detect keyword to target non-Camo Bloons on the opponent's track before Camo Bloons when they attack. It is the inverse of Must Pop.[2]

Characteristics
[edit | edit source]In Bloons TD 4 and Bloons 2, Camo Bloons are green-colored with a woodland camouflage pattern. In other games, they can be any color, but they are usually represented by Camo Green Bloons in icons and artwork.
