Introduced Version 47.0

Too Many Cooks is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It increases the attack speed of Military towers but also reduces it based on the number of Military towers in the map. The Common version of the Artifact reduces the attack cooldown -15%, Rare -21% and Legendary -36%, resulting in an attack speed increase of about +16%, +27%, and +56%, respectively.

The drawback of this Artifact makes every Military tower placed on the map apply a global attack speed reduction that affects all other Military towers (excludes itself), which reduces the bonus by ~5% each (stacks multiplicatively as it implemented as an 1.05× attack cooldown multiplier). This effect is capped at 15 stacks (16 Military Monkeys total), and does not count sub-towers. Monkeys that are considered Military by the effect of an Unification-like Artifact or Essence Of Dreadbloon are also counted towards the drawback.

Too Many Cooks is a reliable artifact that thrives due to the format of Rogue Legends greatly limiting the amount of towers on the map at a time. Even as a Common variant, the boost given rivals those given by Rare or even some Legendary artifacts. The Legendary version holds the distinction of the single largest positive boost to attack speed artifacts can provide, at 80%, and is a very strong artifact to start a run with when paired with artifacts that make a certain category count as all categories (i.e. Unification and the like) or Military Monkey-centric strategies in general,.

Towards the late game it is recommended to concentrate the defense on as few towers as possible, ideally having only one main attacking tower, a couple of support towers as needed and optionally the Hero. Notably, most towers that provide attack speed buffs like Jungle Drums, Berserker Brew or Overclock still result in positive boosts to attack speed. Players might also need to be aware of difficult maps that will force the placing of more towers to cover different areas and skip them if needed. When using Artifacts that makes other types of Towers count as Military, players should avoid using top path Engineers, Geraldo or other Monkeys that spawn sub-towers because these are counted for the drawback.
