Improved Rangs is the Boomerang Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. This upgrade increases the Boomerang Monkey's pierce by +3, increasing from 4 to 7 pierce. The pierce bonus given to Kylie Boomerang increases from +3 to +8, and the pierce bonus granted to the heavy kylies of MOAB Press and MOAB Domination are both +100.

Improved Rangs gives a substantial pierce bonus early on especially when saving into higher-tier upgrades. For Tier 3+ crosspaths, there is usually no reason to stop at Improved Rangs, as the saveup into T3 is rather steep for all crosspaths that Glaives is necessary in almost all situations to avoid dying to early grouped rushes.
