Powerful Darts is the Dartling Gunner's path 3 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It increases pierce by +3, gains faster projectile speed, and gains the shatter damage type allowing it to pop Frozen Bloons. Without additional upgrades, its pierce increases from 2 to 5. It also improves certain crosspaths:

• Plasma Accelerator: +30 pierce
• Ray of Doom: +2 bonus targets with the "initial hit" bonus
• Hydra Rocket Pods: gains two additional explosions and each explosion has +3 pierce
• Rocket Storm: Ability missiles gain +3 pierce but don't gain extra projectile speed

The preferred early-game upgrade for Dartling. 0-0-2 into 0-2-2 is preferred to handle Round 5-7 rushes efficiently. Going into Hydra Rocket Pods, however, it should be sold to make way for a 2-3-0 Hydra, as the inaccuracy of 0-3-2 crosspath is problematic over being more effective at point blank.

Powerful Darts is not very useful on the top path, as the middle crosspath's speed bonuses are simply better for consistency. For Rocket Storm, Powerful Darts crosspath could be useful for beating dense rushes.
