Sprockets is the Engineer Monkey's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It reduces the cooldown of the Engineer Monkey's and sentries' attacks by 40%, effectively increasing their attack speed by about +66.67%. It does not improve the speed at which the Engineer deploys its sentries.

A solid boost to all Engineer attacks, but requires a larger saveup when compared to Double Gun and its DPS boost is not immediately significant until all sentries are built.

3-2-0 can be used to break down early MOABs and Fortified MOAB rushes, but will struggle against non-blimps due to its low pierce. 3-0-2 is generally better when used in the early-game, due to the much-needed pierce being applied.

Recently, we altered Overclock so that buffing a parent tower will also buff all of its child towers (eg sentries). Additionally, in this update we’re fixing a bug with this, meaning that newly spawned child towers will now correctly inherit the buff. With these changes, it makes Sentry Champion incredibly strong but only when buffed up a lot by the likes of Homeland Defense and Overclock. We have decided to change Engineer so that the spawn rate of its sentries can no longer be affected by attack rate buffs, but we have also greatly increased Sentry Champion’s regular damage so that it’s much stronger on its own now.
