Silas is a Hero to be introduced in version 50.0.
He is an Ice Monkey capable of using magic to attack Bloons and has great synergy with them. He freezes water around him and creates a cold aura that reduces the speed of Bloon in his radius, both traits being similar to Arctic Wind. His main attack consists of launching Ice Fragments to the Bloons, reducing their speed by half and freezing them, while also creating an explosion if it targets an already frozen Bloon.
As he levels up, he provides a passive buff to other Ice Monkeys which allows them to create Ice Fragments while attacking which behave in a similar way to his main attack. He also can create Ice Walls over the track that freezes Bloons that make contact with them, reduces the resistance of White and Zebra Bloons to ice attacks and increases its own XP by having Ice Monkeys nearby, and allows the player to have an additional Tier 5 Ice Monkey, in a similar way on how
Master Double Cross works, but with any of the three paths.

Frostbite
Frostbite is unlocked at Level 3. When the ability is active, Silas will detonate Frozen Bloons it targets dealing damage which increases with the amount of time remaining of the Frozen status.
Frozen Cascade
Frozen Cascade is unlocked at Level 7. This ability creates a series of explosions around Silas and the 10 nearest Ice Monkeys which freezes Bloons caught in the explosion radius and deals extra damage to already frozen targets.
Frozen Burial
Frozen Burial is unlocked at Level 10. It Freezes all Bloons on the map and deals extra damage to already frozen target and leaves Ice Walls all over the map.

This update resolved an issue where Silas’ Rime slow was only applying a reduced slow value to standard MOABs, meaning that all other MOAB-Class Bloons (outside of Bosses and BADs) were being completely slowed by the same amount as standard Bloons. Silas has been incredibly powerful so this fix felt entirely fair as a nerf, however we wanted to clarify this here as we mentioned there was little free time this update to review the impact of said fix in great depth so we may consider reducing the total MOAB penalty at a later date after this has time to settle
