Videos uploaded to YouTube (or another video platform) can be embedded on Blooncyclopedia under certain conditions. There are two kinds of videos we allow: videos by official sources and community-created informational videos.

Official videos

Official Bloons videos, such as trailers, soundtrack uploads, and announcements can (and should) be embedded on this wiki where relevant. These should be uploads from official sources (e.g. Ninja Kiwi's channel, Chris Harris's channel, and Tim Haywood's channel), not reuploads, unless the official upload is no longer available for whatever reason.

Unofficial videos

Videos created by the community can be embedded on the wiki if they are about subjects this wiki covers and their purpose is primarily informational. Examples include strategy guides and walkthroughs.

  • You must have permission to have the video be embedded on the wiki. If you're not the creator of the video, you must provide some kind of proof that the author has given permission. You can share proof with staff in private if necessary.
    • The creator of a video embedded on Blooncyclopedia can request to have it removed, at any time, for any reason.
  • Videos cannot be used to promote yourself or another entity. That means the video shouldn't have watermarks or "don't forget to like and subscribe!!!1!!11!1!!" reminders.
  • Videos should be of an acceptable level of quality. Videos must:
    • Be captured with software, not recorded with a camera off-screen.
    • Be of a reasonable resolution and frame rate. It should support at least 720p and 30fps or, if the game runs at a fixed resolution and frame rate, be recorded at the same settings.
  • If the video has commentary (voiced or text), it should be of a reasonably neutral tone and not play things up.
