This article or section needs more screenshots. See the screenshot guidelines for more information on what screenshots are needed and how to add them. The editor that added this notice elaborates: A stunned Bloon
Stun is an attack behavior that causes Bloons to stop moving for a limited time. In Bloons TD 6, Bloons Adventure Time TD, and Bloons TD Battles 2, it is treated as a type of slow that simply reduces the speed of Bloons to 0%, and some stunning attacks only affect a limited number of layers, similar to freeze. In other games, it is a distinct effect that always affects all layers.
Some stuns affect all Bloon types, some only affect regular Bloons, and some only affect MOAB-Class Bloons. BADs and Boss Bloons are usually immune to being stunned, even by effects that can stun MOAB-Class Bloons.
Some towers deal extra damage to stunned Bloons, such as Mortar Monkeys with Heavy Shells and Sauda in BTD6.
In Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2, the Engineer Monkey's Pin upgrade allows its nail gun (and Sentries if crosspathed with Sprockets) to inflict a stun variant that visually covers Bloons in nails. The Master Builder's nails in BTD6 also do this, except it can also pin Ceramic and MOAB-Class Bloons (though MOAB-Class Bloons do not display the unique visual effect).
In Bloons Adventure Time TD, the Spider Wand and Web Gun inflict a cosmetic stun variant that visually covers Bloons in webs. Neither of them affect MOAB-Class Bloons, so they cannot be webbed.
List of towers that inflict stun
This section is incomplete. You can help out by expanding it. The editor who added this notice did not specify a reason.
Stunned is an effect keyword that prevents Monkeys from attacking on their own or their reload counters from decrementing at the start of their turn. Stunned Monkeys can still attack if another card forces them to, such as Artillery Command. Starting in version 4.0, it can also apply to Bloons, which prevents them from attacking or their delay counters from decrementing at the end of their turn. The effect expires at the end of the target's next turn, after On Turn End effects trigger. Monkeys and Bloons that are stunned display this keyword when selected.
