Blade Shooter is the Tack Shooter's path 2 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It replaces sharp tacks with high pierce blades. The upgrade increases pierce from 2 to 3, increases projectile radius from 2 to 6, and reduces attack cooldown from 1.4 to 1.19 seconds (0.85x multiplier). This also gets an additional +1 pierce from the Even More Tacks upgrade, for a total of 4 pierce.

Strategy
editIt is a little overpriced for the amount of defense it can do against early-game rushes, particularly Spaced Whites, while struggling to Grouped Yellows without additional damage such as Quincy. However, the extra projectile size allows for more of these projectiles to hit Bloons where the thinner tacks would not, thus taking better advantage of pierce than 3-2-0 Hot Shots or 0-2-3 Tack Sprayer.
2-3-0 is generally preferred, with 1-3-0 and 0-3-0 being viable stepping stones into it to save money for greeding more eco or an early Farm. 0-3-2 can be useful due to the large pierce gain in addition to bonus projectiles, but it's too slow for the stat bonuses it provides and will struggle to catch up to fast-moving Bloons.
