 A new targeting option enables Heli to seek and pursue the Bloons automatically.

Pursuit is the Heli Pilot's path 1 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It grants Heli Pilot a new Pursuit targeting option. When selected, Heli Pilot tries to move just in front of the farthest Bloon on the track.

Strategy

While Pursuit targeting is not as bad as in the BTD5 Generation, as Pursuit targeting in Battles 2 sets the Heli in front instead of perpendicular to the Bloons, Pursuit should not be relied on to carry a defense, as the Heli can be prone to chasing. However, Pursuit is useful for autopiloting the Heli while using the free time to micromanage other things like ecoing or adding more farming options, though this is not as good of a crosspath for Support Chinook due to missing out on faster blowback from Faster Firing.
