Transforming Tonic is the Alchemist's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It grants the Alchemist the Transformation Activated Ability, which temporarily transforms it into a monster for 17.5 seconds. While transformed, its potion attacks are disabled and replaced with a rapid-firing plasma beam attack similar to Plasma Blasts, and its range is increased by 60%. Each plasma projectile deals 2 damage and can pop up to 6 Bloons. The Alchemist can still see through line of sight blockers while transformed, but its plasma projectiles cannot pass through them. Additionally, its projectiles can collide with Camo Bloons, even though it still lacks Camo detection and cannot target them. The ability has a 60-second cooldown and no initial cooldown.
Special crosspath bonuses
edit- Larger Potions — Increases the pierce of the plasma projectiles from 6 to 9.
- Faster Throwing — Reduces the cooldown of the plasma attack by 20%, effectively increasing its attack speed by 25%.
