Bloons Card Storm (abbreviated BCS) is an upcoming competitive card battling game in the Bloons franchise.
On 23 May 2024, it was announced that an early access build of the Windows version called the Firstlook test would be released to a limited number of applicants on the official Ninja Kiwi Discord server. This build features two Heroes, five preset decks with no customization, and two game modes: an offline Adventure mode where the player can battle against bots with specific decks, and an online Duel mode that was only accessible from 4 June 2024 to 7 June 2024.
Gameplay
Cards
Players can have a maximum of 40 cards in their deck and 8 in their hand. Each player starts with 4 cards and draws one at the start of their turn, unless their hand is full. Cards can only be played during the player's turn. All cards have the following attributes:
- Cost: The amount of Gold that must be spent in order to play the card.
- Rarity: Displays a badge at the bottom of the card. Has no gameplay significance in the Firstlook build.

Bloons
Bloon cards are the main way of attacking the opponent. Each Bloon has a turn counter that determines how many turns the opponent has to defend, a health stat that determines both how much damage the Bloon can take and deal, and a number of times the Bloon can be played before being discarded. If the turn counter is exhausted, the Bloon attacks the opponent's Hero at the end of the player's turn, dealing as much damage as it has health remaining. Each Bloon also generates an amount of Bloontonium equal to its Gold cost for the player's Hero when played. Bloons can have additional effects, such as giving extra gold to the player when destroyed. Each player can have up to 8 Bloons on their side at a time, and more Bloons cannot be played if the player's side is full.
Monkeys
Monkey cards are the main way of defending against Bloons. Each Monkey has an Attack Power stat that determines how much damage they deal to Bloons, an Ammo stat that determines how many times they can attack before needing to reload, and a Reload stat that determines how many turns it takes to restock their ammo. Players can spend ammo to attack their opponent's Bloons at any time during their turn. Monkeys can have additional effects, such as having more attack power when at full ammo. Each player can have up to 5 Monkeys on their side at a time, but new Monkeys can be played to replace existing ones if the player's side is full.
Powers
Power cards instantly trigger an effect when played, then are discarded. Some Powers require a target, such as selecting a Monkey or Bloon to be returned to the opponent's hand, while others have no requirements.
