Quality Soil is the Banana Farm's path 3 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2, replacing EZ Collect in version 4.3.1. It reduces the cost of all the Banana Farm's other upgrades by 20%, including upgrades on its third path, despite what its description states.
While the costs of all upgrades on the third path were increased by 25% in version 4.3.1 OTA update 1 to offset the Quality Soil discount (except Banana Salvage, which had its cost increased further as a nerf), all of those upgrades have different costs when discounted than in the previous update because discounts stack additively.

EZ Collect has never been a very valuable upgrade, particularly for desktop players or those using Banana Farmers where the collection radius isn't important. Quality Soil means that a 3/4/502 farm now has similar efficiency to a 3/4/520 farm. The former is cheaper and generates less cash, while the latter is more expensive and generates more.
