Ground Zero is the Monkey Ace's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. This upgrade grants Monkey Ace the Ground Zero ability, which when activated drops a bomb on the screen which deals 700 damage and has infinite pierce. This bomb has a full-screen blast radius, and can damage all Bloon types. This ability has a cooldown of 35 seconds and no initial cooldown. It has a delay of 0.2 seconds before detonating.

This upgrade also increases the damage of Monkey Ace's bombs from 3 to 10, and increases their pierce from 10 to 30.

Ground Zero is an effective choice for reactively countering Tight rushes, including Tight Ceramics, Tight MOABs, and Tight BFBs (with multiple usages). A lot of investment may be necessary to repetitively use it. It is also an option against DDTs but is even more costly and can be difficult to react towards.

The main attack itself is decent, being enough to one-shot Leads to combat Tight Leads, though the primary use of the Ground Zero is the ability itself and usually should be sold and rebought.

Crosspaths are not necessary as the ability is not at all affected by crosspaths, but 1-4-0 is preferred when used as a permanent tower for the improved bomb rate.
