Spike Storm is the Spike Factory's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It grants the Spike Storm ability. When the Spike Storm ability is activated, spikes are produced onto all available lanes at a rate of every 0.005 seconds for 1 second, resulting in 200 spikes across the track without speed buffs. Storm spikes are distributed randomly across available lanes and last 10–13 seconds, and cannot have their pierce increased by external buffs.
Crosspaths also affect the Spike Storm ability. Storm spikes gain +5 pierce in the same way as the main spikes when given Bigger Stacks, plus normal damage type if given White Hot Spikes. With Long Reach, storm spikes last +50% longer (15–19.5 seconds). Smart Spikes does not affect the rate of producing spikes.

The Spike Factory is the worst offender for this and the Spike Storm Ability is guaranteed to instantly vaporise[sic] the BEAST. We prefer not to add special exceptions to the rules but in this case we feel it's warranted as trying to nerf the Spike Factory so that it does a fair amount of damage to the BEAST would make it unfairly weaker against everything else.
