Spectre is the Monkey Ace's path 3 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It replaces the Monkey Ace's homing darts (from Neva-Miss Targeting) with an alternating stream of rapidly firing darts and bombs directly at Bloons, with an cooldown of 0.04 seconds. This attack always has First targeting, very weakly seeks their target, and alternates between:
- Darts, which deal 2 Sharp-type damage, +2 MOAB-class damage, and +2 Ceramic damage, and have 15 pierce (18.75 with 2-0-4).
- Bombs, which deal 4 Explosion-type damage with +2 Ceramic damage, have 30 pierce (45 with 0-1-4), and explode in a 20 radius (23 with 0-1-4).

Spectre is a strong carry of any Tight rush between rounds 23-29, having very few weaknesses and only needing enough time to be placed to chip away at weakened Bloons, unlike Ground Zero which only needs to be activated reactively to a rush. Spectre addresses anything between those rounds except DDTs, which needs other options to counter it like the de-lead of Cleansing Foam, and Camos unless handled via the 0-2-4 crosspath or external assistance.
2-0-4 is usually preferred for the better DPS, while 0-2-4 should be used in the absence of decamo (e.g. Cleansing Foam) to see DDTs.
