Ballistic Missile is the Monkey Sub's path 2 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It grants Monkey Sub an additional missile attack that triggers when Bloons pass through its range, regardless of line of sight, or the range of all towers with Advanced Intel. Each missile does 2 damage with +5 Ceramic damage, +5 MOAB-Class damage, 50 pierce, and an attack cooldown of 1.105 seconds (10% reduced cooldown with bottom crosspaths; 0.9945s with 0-3-1, 0.89505s with 0-3-2). The missiles are shot upwards and land directly on their target ignoring line of sight blockers, similarly to Mortar Monkey's attacks except they also seek their targets. It takes 0.6 seconds for the missile to hit its target. Missiles cannot damage Black Bloons.
This upgrade also increases the range of Monkey Sub by +8 units.

Ballistic Missile is commonly used in Sub strategies against rushes in rounds 11-14 to handle mid-game bloon rushes, with fair pierce and damage. After that, Armor Piercing Darts is becomes affordable, and more efficient than Ballistic at taking down MOABs and large Ceramic rushes. 0-3-2 is preferred to maximize attack speed and utilize the high-pierce Airburst Darts, and 2-3-0 is typically subpar.
