Grape Shot is the Monkey Buccaneer's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. This upgrade grants the Monkey Buccaneer an additional attack, firing 5 grapes at a time, in a 90 degree spread. Grapes deal 1 damage, have 1 pierce, and have an attack cooldown of 1.3 seconds. Grapes cannot damage Lead or Frozen Bloons. Like Monkey Buccaneer's main dart attack, grapes fires simultaneously on both opposing sides. The attack has several crosspathing perks:
- Faster Shooting increases grape fire rate by +33%
- Double Shot adds +5 grapes
- Destroyer increases grape fire rate by +200%
- Long Range increases grape projectile speed and lifespan by 25% and increases grape pierce by +1
- Crow's Nest allows grapes to hit Camo Bloons and do +1 damage to them
- Favored Trades increases grape fire rate by about +73.33%
- Trade Empire increases grape damage to 2 and grants bonus MOAB and ceramic damage
