Larger Service Area is the Engineer Monkey's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. This upgrade increases the range of all the Engineer Monkey's attacks by 50%, from 40 to 60. If crosspathed with Sentry Gun or above, it also increases the attack range of the Sentries by +4. If crosspathed with Bloon Trap, the player can set the point where traps are deployed to anywhere within the Engineer Monkey's range.

Strategy
editLarger Service Area is preferred for its crosspathing benefits on path 3, being useful for Bloon Trap repositioning when the rate of trap making is less important, and can be useful for Double Gun (though Sentry Gun is usually its preferred crosspath). However, since early rounds often have a lot of pierce issues, the massive range of the Engineer is not usually needed compared to the path 1 and 3 upgrades, and for sentries the extra deployment range is often a downgrade without Deconstruction.
