Overclock is the Engineer Monkey's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. It grants the Overclock Activated Ability, which allows the player to apply a temporary buff to any tower (except sub-towers) of their choosing. For most towers, it reduces the attack cooldown of the target tower and all of its sub-towers by 40%, increasing its attack speed by ~66.7%. For Banana Farms, their income is increased by 50%, rounded up to the nearest whole number. If used on a Monkey Village, it increases its range by 25%. The attack speed buff also works on Primary Expertise. The duration of the buff depends on the target's current upgrade tier and does decrease if the target upgrades while the buff is active. Hero tiers count as floor(level/4), maxing at Tier 5 at level 20.

In addition, this upgrade increases the base pierce of the Engineer Monkey's main nailgun attack by 12 (increased to 15). It also doubles the projectile speed of its nails, but halves their lifespan, so their maximum travel distance remains the same.
