Submerge and Support is the Monkey Sub's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. When purchased, the Monkey Sub gains the Submerge targeting option (positioned after Strong) and switches to this option. When submerged, the Monkey Sub stops its usual attacks, and instead periodically creates an aura in its range that removes the Camo property of Bloons inside it. This decamo aura deals no damage, activates every 1.2 seconds, and has a pierce of 75.

Crosspaths upgrade the aura:

• Barbed Darts increases its pierce by +20%, equalling 90 pierce. Heat-tipped Darts increase the pierce bonus by another +25%, equalling 135 and a total of +50% pierce.
• Twin Guns increases the attack speed of the aura by about +17.8% (-15% attack cooldown), decreasing attack cooldown to 1.02 seconds. Airburst Darts provides a further attack speed bonus of about +33.33% (-25% attack cooldown), equalling 0.765 seconds and a total of about +56.86% attack speed (-36.25% attack cooldown).
