Permafrost is the Ice Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. This upgrade lets all of its freeze attacks apply a permafrost effect on frozen Bloons, applying on the currently frozen layer, or as many layers as the Bloons were frozen. Tier 5 Ice Monkeys with this upgrade (including Super Brittle) apply permafrost to MOAB-Class Bloons (except BADs) that slows them down by 25%.
