Magic icon in Battles 2

Magic is a tower category in Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2 and a Monkey card class in Bloons Card Storm. During a game, Magic towers are distinguished by a purple background. As the name implies, this category is comprised of monkeys with a more magical or fantastical theme. In BTD6, Magic towers are unlocked at levels 15-17 and 19-20, except from the Mermonkey which is instead obtained by popping a certain number of Bloon layers. In Battles 2, Magic towers cost  750 to purchase.

Characteristics

Magic monkeys are one of the most expensive towers, with them having unique damage types, like the Mermonkey having shatter (from trident explosion), the Alchemist having acid, and the Wizard having energy. Most of these towers can buff other towers, like the Super Monkey's top path, the Ninja Monkey's shinobis, and the Alchemist's top path brews and Mermonkey's top path pierce buff.
