Converts Lead Bloons to GOLD! Special solvents do extra damage to Lead Bloons, destroying them in one shot and generating cash.

Lead to Gold is the Alchemist's path 3 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. It grants all of the Alchemist's attacks and acid +9 Lead damage, allowing them to destroy Lead Bloons (including Fortified ones) in one shot. Leads popped this way will generate $50 in addition to the normal pop income.

The normal pop income is affected by external buffs such as Monkey Town as usual. The $50 bonus is not affected by external buffs including Monkey City, but is affected by Double Cash Mode.

Lead to Gold is primarily used for gaining extra cash from Lead Bloons. It is much better in ABR rounds (specifically for Rounds 37 and 38), Dreadbloon Boss Events, and Rogue Legends (especially since farms are less efficient), which contain modified rounds that spawn far more Leads than usual. To avoid stolen Lead pops, place the Alchemist at the beginning of the track and avoid other towers that pop Lead.

The +9 bonus Lead damage is not an effective way of damaging Dreadbloon. In niche situations it can be the cheapest option for getting just enough damage to beat DDTs. An uncrosspathed Lead to Gold is suitable, but 1-0-3 improves consistency against Leads. Skip 2-0-3 since it is actively harmful by granting lead popping to nearby towers. If using it against DDTs, 0-2-3 can be used.
