Epic Range is the Super Monkey's path 2 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. This upgrade increases the range of the Super Monkey from 60 units to 72 units, increases the pierce of its projectiles by 2, and increases its projectile speed by 40%.

Strategy

Epic Range maximizes pierce and range for Super Monkey crosspaths, in addition to projectile speed to minimize wasted chasing of bloons. Top path Supers appreciate this for maximizing DPS and coverage, compared to the supports of bottom crosspath. Bottom crosspath for Dark Champion and Legend of the Night rarely favor middle crosspath's improvements compared to increased attack speed of top crosspath, though 0-2-3 Dark Knight remains decent with Sharpening Stone. The extra range also allows pre-Temples to sacrifice from a wide range, and Support Temples to buff towers within a wider range. For pre-Temples, it's recommended to sacrifice from a small area and then buy the range upgrades later, minimizing accidental sacrifice prior to expanding Support category buffs to important towers.

Robo didn't need to lose pierce in the last Super Monkey T2 rework, and Dark Knight feels like it has too much pierce without ever considering the pierce crosspath. So to balance these together we’ve taken out pierce from Dark Knight and added it back into x2x carrying up into Robo Monkey.
