Perishing Potions

Attack potions deal more damage to MOAB-class Bloons and strip Fortified off smaller Bloons. Buff potions last longer.

Perishing Potions is the Alchemist's path 2 tier 2 upgrade in Bloons TD 6. The Alchemist's main potions and Acid Pools gain +4 MOAB-Class damage and +15 Fortified MOAB-Class damage (total of 20 damage), as well as stripping the Fortified property from non-MOAB-Class Fortified Bloons.

Crosspathing with Acidic Mixture Dip increases the number of attacks it affects to 12. With Berserker Brew, it increases the brew buff's duration by 1 second or +15 attacks, and lowers the reapplication cooldown by 1 second; the same applies to Stronger Stimulant.

Perishing Potions is one of few ways to cheaply strip the Fortified properties of Leads and Ceramics, as well as one of the cheapest ways to do high damage to specifically Fortified MOAB-class. However, it's expensive to spam, is not very efficient beyond the early-game, and does weak damage to anything but Fortified MOAB-class. Acid Pools can be a niche method against a single Fortified MOAB for cheap.

Perishing Potions is more often used as a crosspath to AMDs and T3+T4 brews so that the buffing uptime is extended. This often gives enough extra uptime on faster-attacking towers while the Alchemist itself can contribute a small amount of extra damage. AMD application rate isn't as much as with Faster Throwing, so the extra cost of buying Stronger Acid and Perishing Potions should be only done for a little extra uptime on other AMD Alchemists with desynchronized attacks.

Lead to Gold gets higher average DPS to Fortified DDTs, but is less favorable for Rubber to Gold because the latter upgrade's main purpose is the gold potion which is not affected by Perishing Potions.
