added geraldo strategy expansion, still a weak section, but it's getting somewhere. I tried my best to ensure it's got room for improvements with at least enough quality to be useful to a competent BTD6 player

Geraldo attacks nearby Bloons by firing bolts of energy that splash on impact, hitting up to 5 Bloons at a time at level 1. He can pop frozen Bloons, but not Lead Bloons or Purple Bloons, and he cannot detect Camo Bloons. Geraldo provides access to Geraldo's Shop, an interface that allows the player to purchase consumable items with cash that have a variety of effects, including sub-towers, items that buff towers, and traps that activate upon contact with a Bloon. Each item has a limited inventory that restocks over a certain number of rounds. Unlike other Heroes, he has no Activated Abilities. As he levels up, he unlocks more shop items, upgrades previous shop items, and his main attack's pierce, damage, splash, and attack speed improve.

*Geraldo initially begins with Shooty Turret, Stack of Old Nails, Creepy Idol, and Jar of Pickles. He unlocks new items at levels 2–12 and 20. All of his items begin improving at levels 13–19.
*At level 20, Geraldo fully restocks his entire store, once per game per Geraldo.<!--co-op considerations; you can have multiple separate geraldos restock their own stores-->

Geraldo's Shop is an interface that allows the player to purchase consumable items with cash, which is accessed by selecting Geraldo and pressing the shop button. Each item has an inventory that limits the number of times it can be used, which restocks one use every few rounds (the number of rounds depends on the item). If an item's inventory is full, it only resumes restocking after an inventory space is opened, and it takes an additional round for it to resume. More items are added to the shop as Geraldo levels up, and existing items are upgraded at certain levels (some items' icons and/or descriptions change to indicate this). When Geraldo reaches level 20, all items are fully restocked once for free, which can only happen once per game and does not occur again if he is sold and re-bought.

On desktop, Geraldo's Shop can be toggled with the Monkey Special hotkey and each item slot can be assigned to a custom hotkey under Advanced Hotkeys.

Geraldo has a variety of items that make him a flexible hero. He does not require much micromanagement during rounds, but encourages players to actively manage items (and sometimes levels, too) for each round. He's not simple to use compared to other Heroes, however he can simplify most stages of the game at the cost of in-game cash. Avoid overspending on his items, and always understand the value of his items before consuming them in non-casual games. Explore his items in casual games first to gain a general understanding of them.
He stands out on Boss Bloon Events, mainly because of his Paragon Power Totems and relatively efficient income generation (via Rare Quincy Action Figure and Fertilizer). He also stands out in Least Tiers because his items can be spammed when income is not a concern, and items don't add to tiers. Compared to Benjamin, Geraldo's farming curve is slower at first but picks up once he unlocks Fertilizer. Geraldo has fair synergies with many towers, including middle-path Snipers, top-path Ninjas, and bottom-path Druids,<!--also turbos--> however higher-level players consider him an average-tier Hero for CHIMPS.
In the early-game, his Shooty Turrets excel at breaking down Bloons, compensating for Geraldo's generally low damage alone. Tube of Amaz-o-Glue is a simple-to-use slowdown. When buying Rare Quincy Action Figure, selling him after buying it is beneficial for affording a 0-0-0 Banana Farm as soon as possible, to compensate the lack of direct income that other Heroes would have.
During the mid-game, use his Fertilizer onto Banana Research Facility and Banana Central on modes that enable cash generation, elsewhere build the four Pet Rabbits for efficient cleanup. In Boss Events that require Rejuv Potion for Tier 2 Boss, buy level 11 on round 55 so he stores 2 Rejuvs before round 60 begins.

Towards the late-game, conserving items and saving enough money for important supports outside his shop is important. In CHIMPS, sometimes Geraldo must be placed later on Advanced and Expert Maps, so he times his level 20 restock during the 90s (rounds 92 and 98 are typical for the refresh). Rejuv Potion, Genie Bottle (hyperdense rounds, DDTs, single-target), and Creepy Idol are the main carries for late-game if not considering income. Camo Potion can be considered for a range buff and extra DDT damage. His upgraded Shooty Turrets can be useful on maps with separated lanes (e.g. Dark Dungeons).
Geraldo has many items that make him a very flexible hero. He does not require much micromanagement during rounds, but encourages players to actively manage items (and sometimes levels, too) for each round.

*Timing the round to place Geraldo matters, especially for his Level 20 stock refresh.
*Timing the round to place Geraldo matters, especially for his Level 20 stock refresh. In game modes with cash generation, cash can buy his levels quickly, making the initial placement timing matter less.
