Launches a powerful bomb at the Bloons. Slow rate of fire but affects a radius around the explosion.

The Bomb Shooter is a Primary tower in Bloons TD 6. It attacks by firing bombs that explode on impact, creating a blast that pops a moderate amount of Bloons within its blast radius. It can pop Lead Bloons and frozen Bloons, but not Black Bloons. It can be upgraded to create bigger stunning explosions, fire missiles which do extra damage to MOAB-Class Bloons, or send out multiple clusters of explosions.

Path 1

Bigger Bombs

Tier 1 — 200 XP to unlock

Shoots larger bombs, they have a larger blast area and more popping power.

Each bomb gains +20% projectile size, and the blast radius of the explosion increases by +50% and gains +6 pierce (28 pierce).

This upgrade applies the following crosspath interactions:

• Cluster Bombs and above: Each secondary explosions gains +50% radius and +6 pierce.
• Recursive Cluster and Bomb Blitz: The primary explosion of each recursive shot does not gain extra pierce, but gain extra radius, and each tertiary explosion gains +7.5 radius and +18 pierce.

Heavy Bombs

Tier 2 — 1,000 XP to unlock

Heavy duty bombs can smash through 2 layers of Bloon at once and pop more Bloons.

This upgrade increases the damage of each explosion by +1, and their pierce by +10. This also affects the subclusters for Cluster Bombs and its subsequent upgrades, with the pierce of the tertiary clusters of Recursive Cluster and Bomb Blitz gaining +30 pierce. Additionally, Heavy Bombs increases frag damage from 1 to 2 with Frag Bombs.

Really Big Bombs

Tier 3 — 3,000 XP to unlock

Huge bombs deal greater damage in a large area and knock Bloons back along the path.

This upgrade increases the damage of each bomb from 2 to 4, increases its pierce from 38 to 80, blast radius from 18 to 27, and lets them push back Bloons by 20 units. The pushback effects cannot affect MOAB-Class Bloons nor Bloons that aren't damaged. Crosspathing with Frag Bombs increases the damage of the frags from 2 to 6, pierce from 1 to 2, number of frags per bomb from 8 to 12, and longer lifespan.

Bloon Impact

Tier 4 — 10,000 XP to unlock

Explosions become so violent Bloons are stunned for a short time when they are hit. Range is increased and frags are even more effective.

This upgrade lets each bomb apply a stun to all damaged non-MOAB-class bloons for 1.4 seconds (1.75 seconds with Violent Impact). This tower also gains 3 units of range. With the Frag Bombs crosspath, it gains 4 more frags (total of 16), +1 pierce to each frag (total of 3), and frags gain additional lifespan.

Bloon Crush

Tier 5 — 37,500 XP to unlock

Bloon shattering explosions do massive damage and can stun MOAB-Class Bloons.

Each bomb deals 24 damage, gains the Normal damage type, and applies stun and pushback effects onto MOAB-Class Bloons. Affected Bloons are stunned for 2 seconds, and MOAB-Class Bloons are pushed back by 5 units. The Frag Bombs crosspath gains additional 30 damage (36 total), +17 pierce (20 total), and releases 16 frags.

Path 2

Faster Reload

Tier 1 — 180 XP to unlock

Reloads faster.

This upgrade reduces the Bomb Shooter's attack cooldown by 25%, increasing its attack speed by ~33%. Without additional upgrades, it attacks every 1.125 seconds.

Missile Launcher

Tier 2 — 650 XP to unlock

Exchanges bombs for missiles, which fire faster, fly faster, and increase range.

This upgrade increases the Bomb Shooter's attack speed by ~36.36% as compared to Faster Reload, or ~81.82% (equivalent to 0.55x attack cooldown) as compared to base Bomb Shooter. This upgrade also increases range by 4 units and increases projectile speed by 50% (from 180 to 270). Without additional upgrades, its range is 44 and attack cooldown is 0.825 seconds.

MOAB Mauler

Tier 3 — 2,700 XP to unlock

MOAB Maulers do much more damage to MOAB-Class Bloons.

This upgrade increases the Bomb Shooter's MOAB-Class damage by +15 (or +17 with Mega Mauler), for a total of 16 (or 18 with Mega Mauler). It also increases range by 5 units, from 44 to 49 without path 3 crosspaths. Frag Bombs causes each fragment to deal +4 MOAB-class damage.

MOAB Assassin

Tier 4 — 10,000 XP to unlock

Assassinate MOAB Ability: Special missile flies out and does massive damage to MOAB class Bloons. Regular attack range and MOAB-class damage also increased.

This upgrade grants the Assassinate MOAB Activated Ability, and additionally improves its main attack:

• MOAB-Class damage increased from +15 to +30 (+32 with Mega Mauler), for a total of 31 MOAB-Class damage (33 with Mega Mauler).
• Range increased by 5 units, from 49 to 54 without path 3 crosspaths.

With the Frag Bombs crosspath, the MOAB-Class bonus damage of its frags is increased to +9, and lets its ability create frags after hitting the target.

MOAB Eliminator

Tier 5 — 35,000 XP to unlock

Massive damage to MOABs and Assassinate ability deals 6x damage with a short cooldown.

This upgrade increases its main attack's MOAB-Class damage from +30 to +99 (+101 with Mega Mauler), for a total of 100 MOAB-Class damage (102 with Mega Mauler), its ability cooldown is reduced from 30 to 10 seconds, and its direct hit damage increases from 750 to 4500.

With Frag Bombs, the Frag's bonus MOAB damage is increased from +9 to +29, affecting both the main attack and the ability.

Path 3

Extra Range

Tier 1 — 150 XP to unlock

Increases attack range.

This upgrade increases the range of the Bomb Shooter by 12 units, increasing to 52 (or about +30% range) without additional upgrades.

Frag Bombs

Tier 2 — 600 XP to unlock

Explosions throw out sharp fragments that can pop more Bloons.

This upgrade causes the Bomb Shooter's bombs to emit 8 fragments (10 with Fraggy Frags) that deal Sharp damage to nearby Bloons upon exploding, and do not damage its main target. These fragments deal 1 damage, have 1 pierce, and can be affected by external buffs such as Berserker Brew.

This upgrade also increases the Bomb Shooter's range by 2 units (a ~3.85% increase compared to Extra Range, or a 35% increase compared to base Bomb Shooter).

Cluster Bombs

Tier 3 — 2,500 XP to unlock

Throws out secondary bombs instead of sharp fragments every shot.

This upgrade replaces each of the Bomb Shooter's fragments with a smaller "cluster" explosive, each of which deal 1 Explosion damage and have 8 pierce. Clusters have 15 blast radius and are larger than the main explosions. Unlike fragments, clusters can damage the same target as the main bomb. Each cluster moves outwards from the main explosion and explodes at slightly different times while travelling.

Recursive Cluster

Tier 4 — 10,000 XP to unlock

Every second shot the cluster bombs send out more cluster bombs for even more destruction.

This upgrade increases the damage of all explosions by 1, and causes its cluster bombs to produce tertiary explosions on every second shot. While the secondary explosions visually spawn four tertiary explosions each, each of them are actually treated as one large explosion with more pierce and a larger radius than the secondary explosions. The tertiary explosions deal 2 Explosion damage, and have 4× pierce of the main clusters, for a total of 32 pierce (56 with Bigger Bombs and 96 with Heavy Bombs). Recursive bombs' main explosion also have 18 pierce, but do not gain pierce from crosspaths, only radius and damage.

Bomb Blitz

Tier 5 — 25,000 XP to unlock

Deals much more damage and gains the passive Bomb Storm Ability - when lives would be lost, the Bomb Storm automatically triggers, which destroys all but the biggest of Bloons.

Each explosion from its main attack gains +3 damage (5 damage, 6 with 2-0-5), increases the Bomb Shooter's attack speed by +66.67% (every 0.9 seconds without path 2 crosspaths), and allows the Bomb Shooter to always shoot recursive bombs, as opposed to only in every other shot. Additionally, Bomb Blitz gains a passive ability that activates upon losing lives or a Bloon is about to leak, damaging all Bloons on screen.

Paragon

Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker

Tier 6 — 750,000 XP to unlock

Cluster explosions, anti-MOAB explosions, Bloon stunning explosions, knockback explosions. BOMB has it all!

The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker's main attack slowly fires slow moving, but heavy hitting homing missiles that stun and pushback Bloons, spawning eight cluster bombs on contact, each of which also spawns eight sub-cluster bombs. It deals extremely high damage, enough to destroy a BAD layer in three shots on round 100. It has the Normal damage type, but cannot detect Camo Bloons without Ascended Shadow granting it Camo detection. It has an Activated and Passive Ability, both of which can be reset by Striker Jones's Artillery Command ability:

• Indomitable Surface-to-Air Ballistic Missile — Fires a missile that slowly seeks out its target, leaving a trail of explosions that pushback MOAB-Class Bloons, and finally generating a large explosion when it reaches its main target. Losing lives partially reduces its cooldown.
• Blitz Tactical Storm — A stronger version of Bomb Blitz's Bomb Storm, triggering upon losing lives or a Bloon attempting to leak. It visually rains missiles over the whole map, dealing extreme damage to most Bloons (including Camo Bloons) but dealing reduced damage to BADs and Boss Bloons.
