Obyn Greenfoot summons spirit wolves that deal high damage and moderately home at Bloons. Initially, his wolf attack deals 2 damage and has 4 pierce. As he levels up, he buffs nearby Druids, gains a Nature's Ward Totem that slows down nearby Bloons, and additionally buffs Magic towers.
Starting at level 2, he gains the Nature's Wrath buff, granting +1 pierce to nearby Druids.
Starting at level 4, he will place Nature's Ward Totems randomly onto track around his range, slowing down nearby Bloons.
Starting at level 5, he grants extra range and income to middle-path Druids of at least tier 3.
Starting at level 8, he grants Camo detection to nearby Druids.
Starting at level 9, he increases attack speed and projectile size of all top-path Druids of at least tier 3.
Starting at level 11, he gains the Nature's Clarity buff, which grants extra range and pierce to all Magic Monkeys in range, which stacks with Nature's Wrath.
Starting at level 18, the "wrath" boost of all Druid of Wraths become full at the start of each round.
Brambles (level 3) — Drops a pile of brambles randomly on nearby track, or directly onto Bloons if he detects Bloons in his range.
Wall of Trees (level 10) — Creates a cluster of trees on a targeted location that trap Bloons. When full, it disappears and produces bananas that grant extra cash when collected.

Nature's Wrath
Starting at Level 2, Obyn gains the Nature's Wrath buff, which can buff Druids, increasing pierce of nearby Druids by +1. His Druid-specific buffs improve as he levels up:

Nature's Ward Totem is a sub-tower that Obyn deploys starting from Level 4, slowing all nearby bloons with half effect on MOAB-class, starting at 30%. When first unlocked, he drops them every 18 seconds, and each totem lasts for 15 seconds. He can place up to 5 active totems at a time, and will always place them on active lanes.

Nature's Clarity
This section is incomplete. You can help out by expanding it. The editor who added this notice elaborates: Clarify the Magic-specific buff information
Starting at Level 11, Obyn gains the Nature's Clarity buff, which buffs all nearby Magic Monkeys, granting +5 range and +2 pierce. This buff stacks with Nature's Wrath, so nearby Druids essentially gain +5 range and +3 pierce.
Abilities
Brambles
Brambles is unlocked at level 3. Obyn places down brambles on the track. Brambles deal Sharp damage to the Bloons that pass over them, and can pop Camo Bloons, essentially acting like a big pile of spikes from the Spike Factory. If Bloons are in Obyn's range, he targets the brambles according to his targeting, otherwise, the brambles are placed in a random position in his range. These brambles have 50 pierce and 1 damage.
At level 7 pierce of the brambles is increased to 100 and at level 16 pierce is further increased to 500, and its damage type is changed to Normal. The ability has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Wall of Trees
Wall of Trees is unlocked at level 10. When the ability is activated, Obyn places down a cluster of trees on a targeted location in his range (defaulting on Close for placeables) which can be set by the player by clicking the target button next to Obyn's portrait. The Wall of Trees captures Bloons that enter it in a similar way to a Bloon Trap, including MOABs, BFBs and DDTs. However, MOAB-class Bloons cannot be trapped if their RBE would surpass the Wall of Tree's capacity. The trees will hold 3000 RBE and upon reaching this limit the Wall of Trees disappears and will generate some bunches of bananas that can be collected by the player like the ones from Banana Farms and upon collection, these will grant twice the amount of cash that the player would have gotten from popping the Bloons they captured normally.
This ability has a cooldown of 90 seconds and if it is activated before the current Wall of Trees is full, the old one will disappear and grant the corresponding amount of cash for the Bloons it has already captured. When Obyn reaches Level 20, the RBE capacity of new trees is increased to 9001 and the ability cooldown is reduced to 75 seconds.
This strategy section is empty or incomplete. See the strategy guidelines for more information on how to write strategy sections. The editor who added this notice elaborates: How else can you optimize Obyn? What's his favored maps and/or game modes?
Obyn is a fairly Beginner-friendly Hero, as his wolf spirits are quite accurate and he provides many buffs to Druids, especially the Level 8+ Camo detection to nearby Druids, and for experienced players it assists Druids of the Storm for Super Ceramic cleanup. However, he does have heavy RNG involved with his Brambles ability and the Nature Ward's Totem, making him unreliable camo detection and slowdown. His Wall of Trees can be useful for backline cleanup, but should not be relied fully.

To cut down a little on the RNG aspect of Obyn strategies, his abilities will now be able to target Bloons in the same fashion as Gwendolin’s Cocktail, and only place randomly while none are within radius (yay!). — Update notes

As a ‘druid buffing’ hero, Obyn has in actuality been a bottom path druid buffing hero, so we’ve tweaked a couple extra levels to give more path specific bonuses to other druid paths that weren’t benefiting as much from his wizened presence, regardless of whether your Obyn says “Fries” or “Clive”. Also since we worked out how to do more advanced targeting for the engineer anyway, this has been applied to Wall of Trees too. We considered brambles as well but prefer the early game variety, didn’t want brambles and WoT to appear at the same spot, and didn’t want to overcomplicate with 2 targeted placements, and WoT is clearly the more important. — Update notes

Resolved an issue where Obyn’s Wall of Trees when placed on an intersection looping back around on itself would not be able to hit the children of any targets that passed over it (bug fix)
While powerful, Obyn's Totem can be quite unreliable so we’re reducing that inconsistency by allowing more totems to exist at one time and preventing them targeting inactive lanes. Previously Obyn attempted to help Tornadoes against MOABs with a damage bonus, as we’ve now decided the best way to make them better against MOABs is simply to not target them this buff no longer serves a purpose, so it is instead being replaced with a rate buff to Tornadoes. Finally as Wall of Trees is one of the longer cooldowns in the game and lacks as much of a punch as other hero abilities we’re buffing that cooldown a fair amount with the level 20 upgrade. — Update notes

As Obyn’s value has climbed significantly, we no longer feel his Wall of Trees needs to continue being as strong as it is to prop him up, and so its pierce is being reduced. — Update notes
Nature's Wrath: In certain situations, when selling and re-buying Obyn while it has Jungle's Bounty Druids in range, the cash buff will not be removed properly from the Druids and can stack with itself. It can persist across games and even cause a cash overflow and report an extreme negative value if repeated several times (bug)
